Requirements:
3+ years of civil estimating and project management experience. Experience with Agtek and/or HCSS HeavyBid highly preferred.
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating project costs, managing project timelines, and ensuring the successful execution of civil engineering projects, including grading, underground utilities, and roadway construction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects using software tools such as AGTEK, HCSS, and HeavyBid.
Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion and adherence to financial constraints.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to gather necessary information for project estimating and execution.
Oversee the planning and execution of construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project progress and identify potential issues.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for prospective projects.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project estimates, contracts, and change orders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an estimator and project manager in the civil construction industry.
Familiarity with estimating software such as AGTEK, HCSS, and HeavyBid.
Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, including grading, underground utilities, concrete, and roadway/highway construction.
