Senior Project Manager – Concrete
Locations: Dallas, TX and El Paso, TX
Employment type: Full Time
Ideal Candidate Current Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with a concrete trade partner or with a GC’s self‑perform concrete group.
Responsibilities
Provide overall direction and leadership, owning project outcomes for significantly complex or multiple projects.
Implement and manage operation, profitability and administration of projects in support of company strategy, vision and values.
Lead all aspects of the company's safety culture, create awareness, investigate safety incidents and retrain staff as needed.
Support the preconstruction team with quantity takeoff, trade coordination, scope of work development, scope review, bid package development, schedule development, bid list creation and bid advertisement.
Plan and implement the buyout schedule, verify pricing and scope, identify successful bidders, perform gap analysis against initial scope and manage issuance of subcontracts.
Manage the submittal schedule setup; review and approve shop drawings and samples prior to submittal to architects or engineers; ensure approved submittals are returned to subcontractors and available to the project team per schedule and contract.
Lead or provide support to senior management for preconstruction discussions with clients.
Oversee the project team during the development of preconstruction estimates and identify, understand and actively manage project risks.
Complete estimating and productivity analysis.
Skills and Certifications
Concrete Project Management
Large Project Management ($100M+)
OSHA 30, ACI Certification, PMP (preferred)
Construction software proficiency (Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, Tekla)
