Resource Label Group is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead and grow our presence within the Texas market. This role is responsible for driving regional revenue growth, expanding customer relationships, and supporting the execution of sales initiatives across the state. The ideal candidate brings strong sales leadership experience – preferably within printing, packaging or related industries – with a proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability, building and managing high-performing sales teams, and identifying new business opportunities. This position plays a key role in accelerating growth within the Texas region.
Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of regional sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals in the Texas market.
Provide day-to-day coaching, mentorship, and support to sales representatives within the region. Strengthen team capability and performance through ongoing training and talent development.
Identify new business opportunities by staying informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
Monitor sales performance metrics and overall sales activity to ensure regional and team progress towards achieving goals.
Partner with senior leadership to set sales targets and quotas for the region. Provide input into territory planning and assist senior leadership in setting regional sales budgets.
Foster strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Serve as an escalation point for customer concerns within the region and work cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies, alignment of goals, and effective resource utilization.
Manage regional budgets, track sales-related expenses, and assess ROI on initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or industry related field.
5-7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within the printing industry, with a strong track record of leading a sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with business objectives.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals within an assigned region, and successfully developing new business.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and results to various stakeholders.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and internal teams.
Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
