Event Program Manager
to lead the planning, operational coordination, and execution of complex, high-visibility events. This role requires exceptional project management skills, strong communication abilities, and the experience to manage talent workflows, agency partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless event experiences.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Program Kickoffs:
Facilitate structured kick-off meetings to define goals, roles, workflows, and deliverables.
End-to-End Project Oversight:
Ensure the right personnel, resources, and workstreams are engaged throughout each event lifecycle.
Project Tracking:
Maintain detailed project trackers outlining event plans, scopes, services, timelines, key milestones, and associated fees.
Event Planning & Execution:
Create comprehensive event plans, including budgets, run-of-show, production requirements, and resourcing; execute events according to plan.
On-Site Event Management:
Oversee live event operations, including on-site logistics and travel as needed.
Operational Leadership:
Serve as the primary operational partner for talent-related production needs such as budget tracking, deliverables, and workflow coordination.
Agency & Contract Management:
Own SOW development, agency deliverables, talent contracting, and budget allocation in coordination with agency partners.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Participate in internal and external planning meetings and act as a key representative of the events program.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate communication and alignment with cross-functional (XFN) partners throughout planning and execution.
Additional Support:
Provide any other operational or project support needed to ensure successful, high-quality event delivery.
Qualifications Required:
Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, multi-workstream initiatives.
Proven ability to manage agencies, vendors, and third-party partners effectively.
Excellent communication skills—able to clearly and confidently engage with internal stakeholders, external partners, and executive-level audiences.
Experience in event management, including planning, production, logistics, and on-site execution.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, SOWs, and talent-related workflows.
Ability to navigate fast-paced environments, solve problems proactively, and keep multiple projects on track simultaneously.
Duration:
1 Year, opportunity to extend
Compensation:
$85/hr
