Assistant General Manager
We are looking for an experienced and energetic leader to join
Hotel Management and Consulting, Inc.
at WoodSpring Suites in Charlotte, NC. In the absence of the General Manager, you will lead daily operations and support the team to consistently exceed service standards.

Primary Duties
Team Lead : Train and guide staff, discuss performance, attend and lead staff huddles, provide hands‑on support to achieve outstanding results.
Financial : Post checks in PMS, complete weekly labor tracker, manage payment reports, postpaid outs and receipts.
Guest Relations : Keep the hotel “Guest Ready” by maintaining high cleanliness standards, address concerns swiftly, monitor feedback, suggest and sell amenities, and ensure guest and property security.
Housekeeping : Assign rooms for cleaning, assist GM in inspecting rooms.
Other : Manage inventory, check property email, build vendor and guest relationships, foster teamwork.
Sales & Marketing : Network locally to promote the property, build relationships with competitors, local orgs, key clients; lead in‑house guest sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy.
Teamwork : Assist with housekeeping, daily laundry and public space needs, cover shifts as needed.
Emergency Procedures : Follow property emergency procedures, meet security needs of property and guests.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in hotel leadership, including front desk and back‑of‑house operations.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong team‑building skills.
Excellent organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Proactive problem resolver.
Physical Requirements
Tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending and twisting for long periods.
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Benefits
Salary: $43,888.00 – $47,500.00 (dependent on experience).
