REMOTE - we have presences in the Bay Area and Austin, TX
Compensation:
$150K - $260K base, plus equity
Requirements:
Design Verification, UVM, System Verilog, CPU microarchitecture, Cache Coherency, RISC‑V/x86/ARM/MIPS/SPARC/POWER
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Design Verification Engineer to join our remote team, specializing in the verification of advanced processor designs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of CPU and GPU architectures, utilizing cutting‑edge verification methodologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive design verification plans for processor architectures including CPU and GPU designs.
Create and implement testbenches using UVM and System Verilog for various processor families such as RISC‑V, x86, ARM, SPARC, and MIPS.
Perform functional and performance verification, ensuring cache coherency and other critical features of the processors are thoroughly tested.
Collaborate closely with hardware design teams to understand specifications and provide feedback on design improvements based on verification results.
Identify and debug design issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations to enhance product reliability and performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in design verification of processors with a strong understanding of CPU and/or GPU architecture.
Proficiency in UVM and System Verilog for developing verification environments and testbenches.
Familiarity with processor architectures including RISC‑V, x86, ARM, SPARC, and MIPS, with knowledge of cache coherency principles.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
