Sr. ASIC Design Engineer - CPU
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. ASIC Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance CPU architectures, focusing on advanced ASIC design techniques and methodologies. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-performance CPU architectures using ASIC design techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define microarchitectural specifications and requirements.
Implement and verify complex digital designs using RISC-V architecture.
Utilize AXI and CHI protocols for efficient data transfer and communication within the system.
Conduct thorough validation and testing of floating-point operations and other critical functionalities.
Optimize designs for power, performance, and area (PPA) metrics.
Document design specifications, methodologies, and test plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in ASIC design and verification, with a focus on CPU architecture.
Proficiency in RISC-V architecture and design principles.
Strong understanding of AXI and CHI protocols.
Experience in floating-point design and microarchitectural optimization.
Familiarity with industry-standard design and verification tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
