About the Role As the Engineering Manager, Web, you will lead a group of talented backend and web engineers to develop impactful features and scalable platforms for our Merchants. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to execute a strategic roadmap and shape the team’s technical vision.

Responsibilities

Build experiences core to the day‑to‑day operations of our merchants.

Improve page performance and the reliability of our releases.

Work with cross‑functional partners from product, design, analytics, engineering and S&O.

Provide architectural guidance and professional development for a team of 9+

Encourage innovation, teamwork, and the implementation of cutting‑edge technologies.

Scale the team by recruiting, retaining, and developing highly talented engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field.

3+ years of people‑management experience leading full‑stack product teams.

8+ years of industry experience.

Strong product sense and ability to partner with cross‑functional peers.

Experience selecting and adopting web technologies to improve testing and performance.

Customer‑centric mindset applied to building platform services.

Growth mindset – eager to expand skill set in a hyper‑growth setting.

Adaptability, resilience, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.

Benefits & Compensation Base salary is localized, ranging from $193,800 to $285,000 USD, with additional equity grants. Comprehensive benefits include 401(k) plan with employer matching, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, paid time off and sick leave, medical, dental, and vision coverage, 11 paid holidays, disability and basic life insurance, family‑forming assistance, and a mental health program.
