Job Overview The Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in building & managing data pipelines and/or datasets over their life cycles by working closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team. As a Data Engineer you will assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements for key stakeholders to ensure the enterprise has seamless access to actionable, meaningful, and well-governed data across all domains.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain optimal data pipelines and/or datasets architecture aligned with business needs.

Perform problem solving, formulation, testing, and analysis on data. Design complex queries using SQL.

Adhere to standard operating procedures & coding standards set by the analytics department.

Build relationships with data science teams and business (data) analysts to refine their data requirements for various data and analytics initiatives.

Work with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams and assist them with data-related technical issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Information Management, Engineering or related field (Preferred).

1-2 years experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines and/or datasets, and programming languages such as Python, C#, etc. (Required).

2-3 years technical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Information Management, Engineering or related field (Required).

Up to 1 year clinical experience in healthcare (Required).

Exposure to relational databases like SQL Server & non-relational databases.

Epic Clarity Data Model Certification within 1 year (Required).

Python Certification Preferred.

Oracle Fusion Certification Preferred.
