Join us as an AI/ML Engineer, responsible for leading the development of AI solutions across TD’s technology platforms. The role is based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States.

Job Description AI/ML Engineer provides oversight, consultative advice and guidance to others as the Lead Designer and/or top technical Development Specialist within the organization. Role also leads the future direction of development and design patterns to be used across multiple systems, complex applications, cross‑business initiatives, and new emerging technology projects.
Depth & Scope
Provides technical guidance to others as a Senior Specialist or top technical lead on significant and complex development/design issues that may impact transformational technology or cross‑business strategic initiatives.
Extensive understanding of business, technology concepts, environment, and tools.
Helps set bank standards on infrastructure, architecture, and design solutions.
Works closely with technology COE leads in Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and third‑party/vendor leadership teams to assess development/solutions designs.
Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
Graduate degree preferred.
10+ years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience delivering real‑world AI solutions (recommendation systems, predictive models, fraud detection, personalization, GenAI, LLM fine‑tuning, etc.).
5+ years working with Product and Data Science partners to develop ML solutions.
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, deep learning, natural language processing, etc.
5+ years in MLOps and productionalization: model lifecycle management, CI/CD, monitoring, retraining.
5+ years big data engineering.
5+ years hands‑on experience with AI/ML platforms on Azure ML or AWS SageMaker.
Strong familiarity with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS Bedrock.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
