Working hours: Monday–Friday 5:00 am–1:30 pm
Compensation: Base pay range $86,953.00/yr – $108,691.00/yr. The starting salary range for this position is between $86,953 – $108,691. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Lead a team of welders and fabricators in a manner that demonstrates “Everything is Important”. Manage a production schedule while driving improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery. What You’ll Do:
Ensure all team members are trained on operational procedures and that the team works efficiently and effectively to meet established goals. Monitor individual performance and behavior of assigned team members to ensure adherence to company and departmental policies. Use metrics and make recommendations to managers on driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Serve as a role model and facilitate effective communication throughout the team. Evaluate work, provide feedback, coach and discipline employees to meet expectations. Work with the Senior Production Manager to prioritize staffing/resource assignments ensuring capacity for equipment and labor. Communicate approved schedules, approve vacation requests, and approve timecards in a timely manner. Accurately report end‑day production status for each vehicle build and associated parts. Maintain a clean, uncluttered, safe, and well‑organized workplace to reduce waste and optimize productivity (5S).
Who We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 5 years of related work experience in an automotive, composite, and/or assembly environment. Three or more years of leadership experience in a fast‑paced production environment. Solid technical background and knowledge of welding and parts fabrication. Skilled experience reading and interpreting part and assembly drawings, BOMs, etc. Experience with making, restoring, and/or creating custom automotive parts. Basic understanding of Lean Principles and 5S organization principles. Experience with common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines. Highly motivated with a strong work ethic that works well independently. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and can effectively communicate with other teams and departments.

This position is located in Torrance, CA and the team you’ll supervise works Monday – Friday 5 am – 1:30 pm.
