We’re looking for a
Production Planner
to bring their passion, precision, and problem‑solving skills to our team in Torrance, CA. If you share our passion for beautiful cars, thrive on details, and want to be part of something extraordinary, this is your chance.
Why You’ll Love This Role:
Monitor production milestones in coordination with Master Scheduling and Operations in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.”
The role requires strong communication skills and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to provide visibility and drive action in order to support Singer’s operational goals and provide high‑quality production to our customers.
What You’ll Do:
Ensure materials, tooling, and equipment are released and available to meet production schedule.
Facilitate the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long‑term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
Perform escalated expediting when required to ensure on‑time delivery of materials.
Prioritize work orders and actions to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
Identify critical material deliveries and ensure program requirements are prioritized through the supply chain as well as internal efforts (i.e., receiving, inspection, and stockroom, internal processing).
Identify and implement improvements in production control processes.
Who We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in production control and/or scheduling.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in manufacturing and/or technical administration processes.
Strong computer skills, proficient in the full suite of MS Office, ERP/MRP systems.
Location & Schedule:
This role is onsite in our HQ in Torrance, CA. This is an exempt role, but the general schedule is Monday – Friday 5am‑1:30pm.
