Why You’ll Love This Role
Ensure the smooth and cost‑efficient material flow to support our operations
Develop and execute supply chain project plans for assigned new product development projects
Manage all aspects of assigned commodities – commodity strategies, market conditions, technology roadmaps, and should‑cost creation
Manage a supply base that meets Singer’s Cost, Quality, and Delivery targets
Work in a cross‑functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company‑wide goals
What You’ll Do
Be responsible for issuance of RFQs
Manage supplier relationships and performance to achieve program milestones and customer requirements
Be accountable for ensuring accuracy of part master data within MRP
Generate purchase requisitions and place purchase orders with suppliers to meet demand
Support issuing RFI, RFP, RFQ, PO placement and other purchasing activities as needed
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant fields
Three (3) plus years of experience as Buyer, Purchasing Agent, Purchasing Specialist, GSM or equivalent
Proven ability to onboard and contract pricing agreements with suppliers
Knowledge of procurement strategies, should‑cost models and technology roadmaps
Bonus points if you come from a rapid growth environment and/or automotive/aerospace
A true team player with a positive attitude
Location & Schedule Onsite in Torrance, CA.
