Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled
Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
to join our growing team. This role is vital in providing expert nursing care to mothers during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages, while also ensuring safe, high-quality care for newborns. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates sound clinical judgment, and brings both compassion and professionalism to their practice.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including vital signs, fetal heart tones, and labor progression.
Administer medications, IVs, and other necessary treatments as prescribed.
Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures (including cesarean sections).
Educate and support patients and families through the birthing process and postpartum care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective, and individualized care plans.
Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license
in CO.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN considered with relevant experience.
Minimum
12 years of Labor & Delivery, OB, or Womens Health nursing experience
preferred.
Current
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
required (or willingness to obtain).
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
