Temporary Leave of Absence Administrator
Base pay: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Position Overview Processing leave of absence for the company, which includes federal and state leave of absences.
Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.
Responsibilities
Process new leave of absence requests in the LOA Administration system
Determine leave eligibility based on documentation and demographic information in the system
Follow up on missing information
Send out required notifications to the employee and management team
Answer employee and restaurant manager questions regarding leave of absences
Respond to State Disability and STD/LTD claim inquiries and requests for information
Update LOA status in UKG
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Knowledge of federal and state leave laws, including FMLA, CFRA, PDLL, ADA, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to show compassion and provide excellent customer service
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Experience
Prior experience working with an LOA Administration system (AbsenceSoft preferred)
Prior HRIS experience (UKG preferred)
Prior experience with ADA accommodations and the interactive process
