Key Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor the quality inspection team, ensuring adherence to standards.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods.
Lead investigations into non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Develop, review, and update quality control procedures, work instructions, and control plans.
Conduct training for production and quality personnel on quality standards and inspection techniques.
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommended Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA, Root Cause Analysis).
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop quality inspection teams.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field; ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) preferred.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications, along with practical experience using various measurement equipment.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001).
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process control and improvement.
Experience with advanced quality planning methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
