Our client is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the Dallas‑Ft. Worth area to support their growing water resources and hydrology & hydraulics practice as a Project Manager. This hands‑on, seller‑doer role combines technical project delivery with team leadership and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead hydrologic and hydraulic analysis / design for municipal, state, and federal projects
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers and subconsultants
Manage schedules, plan production, and cost estimates
Support marketing and client engagement
Develop 1D / 2D hydraulic models (HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, XPSWMM, GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
Mentor junior engineers and ensure project quality, budget, and schedule
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (ABET‑accredited)
Licensed PE
7+ years consulting / design experience; 2+ years project management
Advanced hydrologic / hydraulic analysis and design skills
Experience with HEC software, 2D modeling preferred
Proficient in GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong communication, organization, and team skills
