We’re expanding quickly and looking for a
driven Civil Engineer (P.E.)
with
5–8+ years of site development experience
who’s ready to step into a bigger role and make an immediate impact.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage site development projects for commercial, industrial, residential, Multi‑family and/or municipal clients.
Prepare and oversee civil engineering design plans including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control.
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and prepare supporting engineering reports.
Coordinate with architects, planners, surveyors, permitting agencies, and internal engineering staff.
Review and seal plans, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and task delegation.
Participate in client meetings and contribute to proposal development.
Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
What You Bring:
5–8+ years of progressive experience
in civil/site design and land development.
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in South Carolina, at minimum.
Experience with commercial, mixed‑use development, residential infill and multi‑family.
Creativity and out of the box thinking for a‑typical projects.
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required); Master’s degree a plus.
Knowledge of ADA compliance, roadway design, and utility coordination.
Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and municipal staff.
Construction administration and field experience.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management systems and related design processes.
Strong understanding of local zoning codes, permitting processes, and utility design standards.
Effective communication, problem‑solving abilities, and teamwork skills.
