A leading civil engineering firm is seeking a
Junior Civil Engineer
to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands‑on experience in site layout planning, land development, stormwater management, and site grading. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and project managers on a variety of residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and layout of civil engineering projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Support stormwater management and site grading plans
Conduct field visits and site inspections as needed
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including surveyors, architects, and contractors
Prepare technical reports, calculations, and permit applications
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
2–8 years of relevant experience in civil/site engineering
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
EIT certification or on track to obtain PE license
Experience with stormwater modeling software (e.g., HydroCAD, SWMM)
Familiarity with local permitting processes and zoning regulations
