Director of Nursing (DON) – Complete Care at Summit Ridge
Complete Care at Summit Ridge is a 4‑star overall rated 152‑bed skilled nursing facility committed to delivering exceptional resident care, strong clinical outcomes, and a supportive work environment for staff. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all nursing department operations, staffing, and clinical programs.
Ensure high‑quality, person‑centered care aligned with state and federal regulations.
Lead, support, and develop nursing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Monitor clinical outcomes, QAPI initiatives, and compliance measures.
Collaborate closely with facility leadership to drive excellence in resident care and satisfaction.
Maintain readiness for surveys and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Work proactively to reduce hospital readmissions and improve care coordination.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state.
2–3+ years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing/long‑term care facility.
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for SNFs.
Proven ability to lead and motivate clinical teams.
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical‑thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure under pressure.
