Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for an eager and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within a dynamic organization. The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring that financial records are accurate and in compliance.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Assist in the monthly and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Collaborate on the preparation of monthly filings and support the annual financial statement audits.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Assist with the preparation of tax filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Perform a variety of journal entries, reconciliations, and other daily accounting tasks in compliance with GAAP standards.
Reconcile various general ledger accounts including the preparation of monthly journal entries, schedules, and analyses.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1+ year of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
Proficiency with accounting software (SAP is a plus) and MS Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
