Forensics Senior Associate
As a Forensics Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to grow and contribute to our clients' business needs by helping them identify, mitigate, and respond to fraud, regulatory, litigation, and other issues so that they can take rapid protective action, restore confidence, and get back to creating value within the Forensics Advisory Services Practice.
Your day‑to‑day may include:
Perform data and document‑intensive financial analysis and conduct research and investigative data analysis.
Interact with colleagues and clients in multiple time zones and locations globally while performing project management and investigative tasks.
Assist in creating and explaining written and verbal materials describing complex analytic findings and damage‑calculation techniques involving commercial disputes and litigation matters.
Perform data collection, email reviews, and financial transaction testing to detect fraud, prove and disprove whistleblower allegations, and identify control weaknesses within organizations.
Communicate with clients and internally at all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives while portraying knowledge and confidence.
Motivate others to perform at maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality of services delivered.
Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans.
Other duties as assigned.
Technical skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field (required).
Minimum two years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross‑industry clients at a national level.
CPA, CFF, and/or CFE preferred.
Proficiency in more than one language is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with ability to work in a cross‑functional team.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast‑paced, results‑based team environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Can travel as needed.
Base salary range in New York, NY and Arlington, VA offices: $95,000 to $142,600.
