Employees within a 90‑minute radius of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters are required to adhere to the company in‑office work guidelines of 4 days per month minimum from 10 am to 2 pm (1 of the 4 days must be a Monday or Friday). This requirement does not apply to support specialist positions.

Job Summary & Responsibilities The Fund Custody Specialist will report to the Fund Custody Manager in Fund Custody Services. This role is responsible for the relationship with advisors and clients, which includes conducting daily operations related to fund custody services for managed funds or other pooled investment vehicles. Primary functions include processing fund subscriptions and redemptions, re‑registering fund assets, executing fund investments, exchanges, redemptions, and liquidations, completing payment of fund expenses, accounting and analyzing daily deposits and purchases, reviewing quarterly statements, and preparing invoices.

Serve as a dedicated point of contact for assigned fund custody clients

Support and guide clients through account opening, the investment process, and ongoing activities

Manage incoming and outgoing communications for assigned clients

Monitor the establishment of data feeds as needed

Review received data files from clients and investment sponsors

Process the re‑registration of assets

Execute asset and cash transactions as directed, including but not limited to alternative assets, traditional assets, brokerage accounts, client subscriptions and redemptions, and fund expense payments

Monitor and release funds from external bank accounts

Answer client inquiries regarding Inspira products, services and fees in a timely and accurate manner

Work cross‑functionally with various departments within the business to maximize service

Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

1‑3 years services industry or with alternative investments preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field

Strong relationship and communication skills

Ability to solve problems, both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Ability to maintain the highest of service and professionalism

Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature

Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines

An affinity for accuracy and efficiency

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

An aptitude for prioritization and multi‑tasking

A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly

Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred

Pay Range $18.55/hr – $23.85/hr

Compensation & Benefits The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.
