LEGAL OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW The firm is seeking a talented Senior Employment Attorney to take on a key leadership role in its thriving Employment Department. This attorney will manage complex employment matters, advise employers on compliance and workplace policies, and represent clients in litigation, including wage and hour, class actions, discrimination, and wrongful termination cases. With partner mentorship, robust firm resources, and a hybrid schedule out of San Jose, CA, this role offers a rare blend of challenge, growth, and long‑term career opportunity.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD

Represent clients in wage and hour, class action, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters

Lead hearings, depositions, mediations, and other key litigation proceedings

Counsel employers on compliance with California and federal labor and employment laws, workplace policies, and best practices

Respond to administrative charges and manage pre‑litigation disputes with strategy and professionalism

Partner with firm leadership to support continuous improvement of processes, client services, and team development

WHAT YOU BRING

Passion for labor and employment law and for providing exceptional client representation

Demonstrated success in leading employment litigation and counseling matters

Experience taking and defending depositions, managing hearings, and serving as lead counsel in significant cases

Strong written and oral advocacy skills with the ability to provide clear, strategic guidance to clients

Active California Bar membership in good standing

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This opportunity offers a base salary starting at $210,000, with actual compensation dependent on experience and qualifications.
