Role Overview

Branch Manager at Financial Center – responsible for leading branch operations, coaching staff, ensuring member satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.

Base Pay Range

$71,500.00 – $87,250.00 per year.

Purpose

Deliver high quality service to internal and external members by supporting and promoting our values: Care, Listen, Learn, Solve, and Act. Maximize revenues, sales, member satisfaction while minimizing operational losses.

Success in the First Three Months

Complete FiCEPs certification within 6 months. Become a licensed Indiana Notary within 3 months. Attend all required training sessions. Understand role responsibilities and perform independently, including community outreach planning. Demonstrate knowledge of Keystone & Meridian Link systems. Align with core values in all interactions. Engage in all required meetings. Provide coaching and leadership to branch staff.

Essential Duties

Develop and deepen consumer and business relationships to achieve branch goals. Identify and recommend products and services that benefit members. Lead, manage, and hold branch staff accountable; develop and train staff; conduct coaching and performance reviews. Manage branch performance: member satisfaction surveys, retention, and production goals. Ensure high quality service and maximize product/service sales. Supervise staff; approve corrections and overrides; create work schedules; perform branch functions when staff unavailable. Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies; coach staff. Prepare timely documentation: scheduled evaluations, action plans, disciplinary actions. Adhere to internal controls; accountable for branch losses. Build community relationships and create new business relationships for growth. Recruit and hire branch employees.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: College degree in business administration, sales, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years credit union or related experience, including 5 years proven sales experience; demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams. Knowledge: Within 90 days, possess thorough knowledge of credit union bylaws, policies, procedures, and state/federal laws affecting retail center operations. Skills: Coaching and leadership, Microsoft Office, core credit union systems, loan origination systems, ATM, online services, and other internal programs. Communication: Strong verbal communication, self‑motivation, strong interpersonal skills, accurate attention to detail, courteous, patient with members and employees. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Ada Requirements

Physical: Sedentary work with limited physical exertion; lift up to 15 lbs; climb and descend stairs; operate routine office equipment; work on computer 6‑8 hrs/day; willing to work extended hours or travel off‑site. Working Conditions: Indoors, climate‑controlled shared work environment with moderate noise. Mental and Emotional: Perform job functions independently with limited supervision; work effectively as part of a team; communicate clearly; maintain composure under stress; exercise discretion with confidential matters.
