Responsibilities
Support Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan inspections and ensuring compliance with applicable notification and reporting requirements.
Conduct monthly stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) inspections and ensuring compliance with stormwater permitting requirements which may include stormwater sampling during a precipitation event.
Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental data, ensuring accuracy and compliance (e.g., HMBP, Annual Waste Reports, etc.).
Manage waste generated, manifests and recordkeeping in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Conduct inspections of hazardous waste areas and above ground storage tanks.
Assist with aste sampling and develop waste profiles, manifests, and chains of custody.
Support existing file management systems on SharePoint for relevant analysis, plan updates, inspections, etc.
Support the execution of environmental programs, such as waste minimization, recycling, and circularity strategies, ensuring alignment with CA regulations.
Support environmental sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering, or Science related field.
3 years of compliance experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
