Associate Director, Program Management (Transformation)
Collins Aerospace is looking for an Associate Director, Program Management (Transformation) supporting the Boeing 737 Lavatory product line within the Interiors business. The incumbent will be responsible to drive several continuous improvement programs within the business including work transfers, quality improvement and cost savings. The ideal candidate would be a seasoned and ambitious leader who can drive a multifunctional Program Management Team (PMT) to meet program schedules and budgets. Beyond a strong aerospace background, the incumbent demonstrates strategic vision, financial and business acumen, and a proven ability to navigate complex challenges in a dynamic development and manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do
Drive the entire life cycle of large strategic projects, directing it throughout the program life cycle with full accountability and ownership
Establish program plans including schedules, budgets, business cases and lead the Program Management Team (PMT) to execute on time and on budget
Ensure that all functional areas—including program management, finance, quality, operations—perform in a coordinated and effective manner to meet business, program, and customer commitments.
Proactively identify risks and opportunities and maintain a comprehensive and regularly updated register
Facilitate and drive empowerment amongst the IPT, recognize achievements, and create a highly motivated PMT to ensure customer commitments are met
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to build on the strategic blueprint for our lavatory business.
Demonstrate continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
Work to develop new standards of program management excellence across the lavatory business.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time (domestic and international)
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires University Degree and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience in the aerospace field or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
Successful experience leading a multifunctional PMT
Demonstrated business acumen and Profit and Loss (P&L) understanding/ownership
Qualifications We Prefer
Managed Earned Value (EV) programs and complex schedules, performing critical path and dependency analysis using Microsoft Project and related tools.
PMP certified with customer-facing experience as a program manager.
Led work transfers and major program changes, applying change management and stakeholder negotiation expertise.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills across functions, leadership levels, and customer groups, with meticulous attention to detail and a drive for excellence.
