Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and mentor quality inspection personnel. Ensure strict adherence to established quality standards, specifications, and procedures. Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Oversee all product inspections, testing, and audits throughout the manufacturing process. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain and enforce compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant industry regulations. Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and optimize processes.
Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Qualifications Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) Experience with ERP/MES quality management modules
