Job Description We are seeking a dynamic sales leader to drive growth in our Federal and SLED (State, Local, Education) markets, focused exclusively on our security solutions portfolio. This newly created role will lead a high‑performance team, expand our footprint with public sector clients, and collaborate closely with engineering and other sales leaders to accelerate adoption of key offerings. The position can be located anywhere in the Eastern time zone of the US.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow a cross‑functional sales team, expanding from five to nine members over time.
Drive security product sales in the Federal and SLED sectors through proactive customer engagement and strong channel partnerships.
Build new business pipelines and execute strategic account plans to deliver consistent growth (target: 10% annually, with stretch goal of 20%).
Partner with engineering, SEM leadership, and public sector specialists to align go‑to‑market strategy.
Establish strong relationships with federal agencies, public sector decision‑makers, and key channel partners.
Ensure exceptional client coverage through frequent travel (minimum two weeks per month).
Required Qualifications
Proven success in Federal/SLED sales leadership roles, with a track record in security solution sales.
Strong technical knowledge of security products and ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience selling through and with channel partners.
Demonstrated ability to build new business and/or grow underdeveloped territories.
High travel tolerance and ability to cover federal/public sector accounts across regions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building teams from the ground up.
Established relationships within the federal and SLED security ecosystem.
Previous success selling enterprise license agreements or large‑scale software/security solutions.

Compensation USD Annual Salary: $236,500 – $573,000. Variable incentives may also be offered. Job Level: Director.
