As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for leveraging existing partnerships and helping achieve Apartment List’s sales and revenue goals. You are a self-starter who loves to learn and takes initiative. You are naturally curious about what makes a business tick and ask great questions to understand your market, customers, and product. You have a track record of quota achievement, high performance and client retention. You are a team player and have great examples of actions that put the team first. *** This is a REMOTE position with the expectation of regular in‑person travel, ~ 40% of time spent in the market to visit clients across the US.

Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team: Drive Expansion Within Existing Enterprise Portfolios

Grow revenue by expanding Apartment List’s product adoption across your book of business and multithreading within larger client organizations, engaging VP‑level leaders, Regional Managers, and Community Managers.

Increase adoption of Apartment List’s marketplace solutions (Pay Per Lease, LIFT, and A‑List Nurture) – by delivering strategic recommendations, performance insights, and consultative selling.

Identify whitespace, product upsell paths, and long‑term portfolio growth opportunities within Enterprise level accounts.

Lead Strategic Client Retention & Relationship Management

Own client satisfaction, retention outcomes, and performance delivery across your enterprise portfolio.

Diagnose client challenges and collaborate with Implementation, Partner Success, Client Services, Accounts Receivable, and Sales Leadership to drive meaningful solutions.

Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and product‑focused performance analyses to align on performance, goals, and strategic opportunities with multiple points of contact across your book of business – including Marketing Leaders, Operations Leaders, and onsite Property Teams – to demonstrate value in the partnership and drive expansion across services.

Use Data to Influence Client Decisions & Drive Growth

Directly collaborate with the Partner Success team to analyze performance trends, ROI, and marketplace insights, creating data‑backed recommendations that influence client buying decisions and drive expansion.

Translate analytics into clear narratives and action plans that guide client strategy.

Operate within Salesforce and Gong to maintain disciplined sales forecasting, pipeline management, activity tracking, and quota accountability.

Contribute to a High‑Performance Expansion Team

Elevate team performance through collaboration, best‑practice sharing, and peer coaching.

Foster a winning mindset rooted in accountability, continuous improvement, and strong execution.

Support broader GTM initiatives that strengthen our enterprise expansion motion.

Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:

You have 5+ years of account management and sales experience, at least two being within the Enterprise sales segment of accounts generating $200k+ in annual revenue.

You’ve been successful in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities to scale revenue with existing business, while reaching and exceeding sales targets. You also have a proven ability to retain existing business.

You are data and analytics focused and know how to utilize key insights and/or trends to drive client buying decisions.

Develop and maintain accurate sales and/or revenue forecasts and management of quota funnels.

Act as a true account owner overseeing almost all aspects of the client’s business.

Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate ticket status and documentation for projects and escalated tickets.

Partner with internal stakeholders in order to drive additional value and expertise.

Here’s the Pay Range: At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work.

The US compensation range for this position is $155,000 – $175,000 OTE (60/40 split w/ Uncapped Commissions ) + equity, which reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Please note, the compensation details reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, benefits, and perks that we offer.

We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration.
