About: Our client provides an affordable, intuitive event management platform that helps local venues compete with large chains, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace of event services.
As the
Founding Recruiter , you’ll own the full recruiting lifecycle and play a critical role in building the company's team and culture. You’ll develop hiring strategies, source top talent, refine processes, and partner closely with leadership to scale the organization. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
Source, engage, and hire top talent across multiple functions (fully outbound role).
Design a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch to offer.
Build and amplify the employer brand through strategic channels.
Partner with hiring managers on role scoping, job descriptions, and interview decisions.
Improve hiring operations, tools, workflows, and analytics.
Support early people operations, including onboarding, performance reviews, and culture initiatives.
Requirements
2-3+ years in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally in high-growth startup or agency environments
Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
Passion for people, culture, and building from the ground up.
Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced startup setting.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with ATS and sourcing tools (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem).
Demonstrated success filling technical and non-technical roles.
