We are seeking an associate attorney with 2–4 years of litigation experience to join our client’s Insurance Defense team. This practice defends clients in high-exposure personal injury cases, including trucking and transportation accidents, premises liability, and emerging human trafficking litigation. The ideal candidate has strong litigation skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in high-stakes cases.
Responsibilities
Defend clients in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, including trucking accidents, automobile collisions, premises liability, and sex trafficking defense.
Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and evidentiary motions.
Work closely with clients, insurers, and senior attorneys to develop case strategy and manage litigation budgets.
Prepare for and participate in mediation, arbitration, and, when appropriate, trial.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Georgia Bar.
2–4 years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense, personal injury, or general liability.
Strong deposition, writing, and case management skills.
Ability to handle complex medical records, accident reconstruction evidence, and sensitive subject matter with professionalism.
