Key Responsibilities
Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians.
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, procedures, and specifications.
Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators and metrics.
Oversee in-process and final product inspections and testing activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality processes and systems.
Manage the investigation and resolution of customer quality complaints.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage and develop a quality team.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Experience as a certified internal or lead auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and SPC.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional quality improvement projects.
