We are looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities.
You’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks and will gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. As part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team, you’ll help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities.
Responsibilities
Develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation.
Document and model design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Produce control system designs for a variety of processes and develop optimization options for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete solutions for new facilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience working with instrumentation and control.
Preferred Experience
Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
Experience working with Data Centers.
Engineer in Training (EIT).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and able to contribute innovative ideas.
Ability to learn quickly and drive broader knowledge acquisition.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in diverse teams.
Passion for buildings and construction.
Benefits The base salary ranges for this position are $69,500.00 – $95,500.00 per year. In addition, employees have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and opportunities to purchase company stock.
