Responsibilities • You’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, becoming familiar with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. • Provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities with other staff and the discipline lead. • Help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete solutions for new facilities. • Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. • Produce control system designs for a variety of processes and develop options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation. • Work collaboratively within a highly interactive, multidisciplinary team, benefiting from mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience working with instrumentation and control.
Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications preferred.
Experience working with data centers.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams.
Passion for buildings and construction.
