UTILITY SENIOR SERVICES MANAGER (PRETREATMENT PROGRAM) (CLASS CODE 3095)

Responsibilities
Professional, supervisory, administrative and technical work directing all activities relating to a large water utility company. Some positions may also function as the second in command to a Utility Services Administrator or higher level administrator. Work includes planning, assigning and reviewing the work of lower level managers and may include a staff of professional, technical and clerical employees. Work includes establishing and monitoring management controls for assigned operational area and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations pertaining to Board operations where applicable; and related work as required.
Qualifications Original Entrance
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Six (6) years professional salaried administrative experience in a pretreatment program with responsibility for the regulation of Federal, State and local environmental protection laws. At least two (2) years of this experience must have included supervisory responsibilities of other employees performing water pretreatment functions.
Current Class Four (4) Wastewater Collection certification issued by the Louisiana Department Health.
Current Class Four (4) Wastewater Treatment certification issued by the Louisiana Department Health.
Promotional
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Permanent status with the Sewerage & Water Board as a Utility Services Manager or higher and two (2) years of experience in that or higher-level classification with the Sewerage & Water Board's Environmental Department.
Current Class Four (4) Wastewater Collection certification issued by the Louisiana Department of Health.
Current Class Four (4) Wastewater Treatment certification issued by the Louisiana Department of Health.
