Job Summary The Medical Physicist will provide specialized support within the Cancer Center, ensuring accurate, safe, and high-quality radiation therapy services. This role requires strong technical expertise, clinical experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with oncology and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and support medical physics duties within the Cancer Center setting.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and treatment accuracy.
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists for treatment planning and quality assurance.
Conduct equipment testing, calibration, and QA procedures as required.
Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with organizational and departmental protocols.
Support clinical operations and workflows to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Physicist.
BLS certification (required).
Ability to work an 8-hour Day schedule, Monday–Friday.
Must meet holiday coverage expectations.
Holiday Requirements Candidates must be available to work:
One major holiday:
Christmas Day or New Year’s Day
One minor holiday:
Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve
