Infineon Technologies is a leading semiconductor high‑reliability applications industry, serving undersea, space and defense markets. In our backend operations and design site in Leominster, MA, we develop, package, assemble, test, and screen semiconductors, ICs, and modules to meet the rigors of outer space and other demanding environments.

We are looking for a Statistical Process Control (SPC) Administrator who will join the Operations Engineering team and be responsible for the execution of SPC processes, including planning and organization of control plans, channel set‑up accuracy, alarm rules, response workflows, capability reporting, and timely control limit reviews.

Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role:

Setup SPC channel in SPaCe correctly, including accurate naming, control limit review strategy, and sample size.

Align SPC control limits with Quality Engineering (QE), Unit Process Engineering (UPE) and R&D engineering.

Define and set up user authorization within the site.

Perform timely control limit review using SPaCe (adhere to defined review criteria and data integrity), align and obtain UPE/QE approval.

Define the review frequency, document changes and release via change management platform.

Support SPaCe SPC review methodology and tools to assure compliance with certification requirements.

Provide data‑analysis support and escalation to management for requests that are not compliant with SPC requirements (e.g., relax, remove or set manual limits).

Provide data analysis, coaching and briefing for SPC users including OCAP execution.

Participate in and obtain SPC Administration certification.

Monitor SPC trends and reporting, and share data in improvement meetings with UPE/QE.

Roll out SPC improvements within the site.

Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, or Manufacturing), Statistics or a closely related field.

2‑3 years experience in backend semiconductor or electronic assembly processes.

2‑3 years direct responsibility for SPC administration, preferably SPaCe, capability analysis, and MSA; experience leading OCAPs and supporting audits.

Knowledgeable and familiar with process monitors.

Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and military/aerospace industry standards.

Knowledgeable in statistical methods such as control chart selection and interpretation, capability indices, sampling theory, non‑normal data handling, basic DOE and regression.

Experience with SPC platforms, MES integration, equipment data collection; proficiency in data handling and analysis (e.g., SQL basics, scripting or statistical tools, dashboarding).

Understanding of problem‑solving methodologies (Ishikawa, 8D, 5Ws, etc.) and statistical data analysis software (JMP, Minitab).

Effective team leader and member, ability to collaborate with other teams in IR‑Hi‑Rel/Infineon sites for best practice, resource and knowledge sharing.

Strong communication, structured thinking, and project management; ability to influence cross‑functionally within IR HiRel.

Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication, reporting, and presentation skills.

Location and Compensation Leominster, MA. Salary range: $75,700 – $104,100 per year. Eligible for an incentive plan.
