Project Background Following a recent carve‑out and rebranding, our client is in the midst of an enterprise‑wide Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O rollout with heavy process‑manufacturing and GxP requirements. The program needs an immediate, senior‑level D365 F&O expert who can step in as the de facto global lead architect for the implementation.
Scope of Engagement
Act as the hands‑on Lead Solution Architect and interim product owner for the entire D365 F&O environment (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, batch/formula management)
Own solution design, fit‑gap resolution, configuration, extensions, and validation deliverables in an FDA/GxP‑regulated environment
Drive integration architecture and delivery of D365 via Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, Data Entities, Dual‑Write, and custom APIs
Lead or co‑lead remaining go‑lives and country rollouts (Western Europe, Asia, Latin America) using a global template approach
Deliver CSV (Computer System Validation) documentation packages, risk assessments, IQ/OQ/PQ execution, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for all in‑scope modules
Provide hands‑on troubleshooting, performance tuning, master‑data governance, and escalation support
Mentor and direct a small internal team (3–6 people) plus system‑integrator resources
Help define and execute the 2025–2027 D365 roadmap and continuous‑improvement backlog
Requirements
10+ years enterprise ERP with minimum 5 years recent, hands‑on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
Must have played the lead architect / functional lead role on at least one full‑life‑cycle D365 F&O implementation in process or batch manufacturing
Deep, current expertise in D365 Finance, SCM, Production Control, Quality Management, batch attributes, formula/recipe management, and costed BOMs
Proven delivery of GxP‑validated Dynamics systems (CSV, electronic signatures, audit trails, change control)
Strong integration track record using Azure services, Power Platform, OData, and third‑party MES/LIMS
Immediately available or on ≤2 weeks notice preferred
