Senior Tax Analyst – HYBRID – Houston

As a member of the dynamic, fast‑paced tax team, you will report to a Tax Manager and support the organization through income tax compliance, tax accounting, tax planning and research, and collaboration with corporate accounting and business groups.
Responsibilities
Prepare state income and franchise tax calculations, including state estimated income tax payments.
Record monthly tax journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
Conduct calculations for the quarterly income tax provision.
Assist with the preparation of U.S. consolidated federal income tax returns.
Respond to tax audits and notices.
Participate in additional tax projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred.
2+ years of corporate federal and state income tax experience, ideally with a Big 4 or national CPA firm; experience in a large multinational corporation is a plus.
Proficiency with MS Office and OneSource Income Tax. Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, Oracle, and OneStream is advantageous.
Strong technical tax background, including tax research and compliance knowledge.
Self‑motivated, initiative‑driven, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Benefits and Compensation The annual base salary range for this position is $86,850 – $144,750, depending on qualifications, experience, and other business factors. Additional rewards may include a variable plan and country‑specific benefits.
