Position Objective Support U.S. tax compliance activities with a primary focus on
property tax and income tax
across multiple domestic legal entities. This role is responsible for timely and accurate property tax filings, tax payments, record maintenance, and support of income tax compliance and tax accounting activities. The Senior Tax Analyst will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external service providers, auditors, and tax authorities at both the U.S. and global levels.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and file property tax renditions across multiple jurisdictions; ensure timely payment of property tax liabilities and compliance with local regulations
Maintain detailed property tax records, including assessments, valuations, and payment history
Reconcile and analyze property tax accounts, resolve discrepancies, identify appeal opportunities, and coordinate valuation protests with external consultants
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual property tax reports and provisions; identify and implement process improvements
Assist with income tax accounting, including calculation of tax provisions under
IFRS
and internal managerial accounting standards
Support preparation of U.S. federal and state income/franchise tax returns and related workpapers
Research and monitor tax law changes, legislative developments, and business changes impacting tax compliance
Assist with property tax and income tax audits by preparing responses to information requests and auditor inquiries
Ensure compliance with
SOX and internal controls
related to corporate tax functions
Maintain tax documentation and provide support on cross-functional tax initiatives as needed
Qualifications
3–5 years of tax compliance and tax accounting experience;
property tax experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Hands‑on experience preparing and filing property tax renditions across multiple U.S. jurisdictions
Exposure to U.S. federal and state income/franchise tax returns and related workpapers a plus
Working knowledge of
IFRS income tax accounting
and tax provision preparation
Experience with
SAP
and
OneSource
tax systems preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Self‑motivated, analytical, and organized with strong communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural, international environment
Advanced Excel skills;
Power BI experience a plus
