Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Behavioral Health Technician, located in Boston, MA. The Behavioral Health Technician will support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder by implementing behavior intervention plans, providing one‑on‑one therapy sessions, and monitoring progress. The technician will collaborate with BCBAs and other team members to reinforce positive behaviors, support skill development, and collect data to assess treatment effectiveness. Building strong, supportive relationships with the clients and their families is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications
Understanding of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies
Strong foundation in Behavioral Intervention and Psychology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with children and families
High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred
Experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum is a plus
Willingness to complete training for certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) if not already certified
