Responsibilities Our engineers collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, coordinate with diverse engineering teams, and ensure project success. Typical tasks include:
Develop design studies, prepare engineering calculations & analysis, attend project meetings, perform walkdowns, and mentor junior employees.
Create impactful engineering deliverables: precise, error‑free drawings, calculations, and analyses that exceed industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
Develop engineering documents that meet and surpass client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
Continuously enhance expertise in industry codes, safety culture principles, and advanced design techniques.
Deliver exceptional engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs.
Build trust and lasting relationships through clear communication and professional engagement.
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs that meet diverse project requirements.
Engage directly with client personnel on site, performing detailed plant walkdowns to ensure all structures, systems, and components meet the highest engineering standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 3 years of experience designing electrical systems.
Experience in engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (chemical or pulp & paper), energy, or government (DOE) projects (highly preferred).
Good writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work individually and in teams.
Proficient in Word and Excel.
For certain federal contracts, only U.S. citizens will be considered.
Senior Engineers typically have 7 years post‑graduate experience; Principal Engineers, 10 years.
Early‑career candidates may be transferred to early talent team.
Pay Range USD $90,000.00 – $177,450.00 per year.
