Part Time Child Care Program Manager (Highline School District)
Right At School is a dedicated provider of before and after-school programs that emphasize disguised learning activities and daily enrichment for children, inspiring a love of learning while supporting schools and giving families peace of mind.
Pay Range:
$25–$27 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday split shift. Before School: 6am–9am (Friday 6am–10:30am). After School: 2:30pm–6pm.
Responsibilities
Safety & Joy: support a team of staff, maintain site documents, licensing standards, attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures. Provide coaching and maintain team cohesion.
Safety Assurance: support and report on safety protocols to ensure well‑being of all participants, identify and mitigate risks.
Effective Communication: engage meaningfully with families, partners, peers, and children; respond promptly to inquiries during program hours; collaborate with Area Manager.
Documentation & Compliance: maintain records for student check‑ins and check‑outs; ensure name‑to‑face attendance procedures per policy.
Daily Routine: implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while ensuring a safe, engaging environment.
Ideal Candidates
Experience working among competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
High school diploma or GED completed.
2+ years of direct experience working with children under 13.
1 year of supervisory experience.
18+ years of age.
Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 credits from 100 class or above in college coursework.
Experience with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
Strong communication skills – oral, written, visual with adults and children.
Professional standards modeling for students, parents, staff, community.
Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
Knowledge of state‑specific requirements.
First Aid and CPR in person.
Cleared tuberculosis test.Proof of MMR.
Proof of High School diploma/GED required.
