COMPUTER SUPPORT SPECIALIST III, Health Sciences IT & EdTech Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Computer Support Specialist III to provide end-to-end technology support at the Boston University Medical Campus. The role focuses on client experience, platform expertise, and collaboration with faculty, staff and researchers.

Responsibilities

Advocate for client technology needs and participate in multiple service, platform or project teams.

Act as an application administrator or backup for multiple services and provide expert level support for several technologies.

Work onsite with the possibility for periodic remote days as coverage allows.

Deliver outstanding support through collaboration with students, faculty, staff and researchers to update and improve business processes using IT solutions.

May require on-call and evening, weekend and/or holiday hours.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a related technology environment.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

Experience supporting environments on both Windows and macOS platforms.

Proficiency with ITSM ticketing, remote assistance, asset management, imaging, patching, backup, endpoint protection and encryption solutions.

Valid driver’s license.
