This role is responsible for selling and managing guest room blocks, meeting space, and food & beverage services for corporate, university, and executive education clients. Group Sales Manager Responsibilities
Develop and manage group business for the conference center and hotel Prospect and build relationships with corporate, academic, and association clients Respond to RFPs, conduct site visits, and create customized proposals Coordinate guest room blocks, meeting space, and catering packages Meet or exceed revenue targets through strategic outreach and lead conversion Collaborate with internal departments (catering, front office, operations) to ensure seamless event delivery Maintain accurate records using CRM and event management systems Group Sales Manager Requirements & Qualifications
2+ years of current hotel, conference center, or event sales experience Experience managing group bookings, guest rooms, catering, and event space Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Bachelor’s degree preferred Group Sales Manager Preferred Background & Skills
Highly organized and detail‑oriented with a customer‑first mindset Solutions‑driven, proactive, and tech‑savvy Passionate about hospitality and building long‑term client relationships Familiarity with hotel CRM or event booking systems (e.g., Delphi, SocialTables, Opera) is a plus Seniority Level
