Position Overview The Director of Foundry Engineering will oversee the engineering department, leading innovative projects in aluminum/magnesium casting and metal manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the engineering team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Develop and implement engineering strategies for aluminum/magnesium casting and metal manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with production teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
Establish and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in foundry operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus
A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of aluminum/magnesium casting, die casting, and metal manufacturing processes.
Proven track record of successful project management in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
