Senior Conveyance Technical Director

Location: Dallas, TX

About the Role The overall position objective includes both contributing to significant new business growth and providing technical support for conveyance projects nationwide. You will strengthen existing client relationships, develop new ones, and lead technical strategy for key opportunities while supporting high‑impact civil projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain visibility in the external market with clients and partners and serve as an internal champion for conveyance, working closely with Regional Managing Directors, Sub‑Region Directors, Client Directors, Project Managers, and Business Solution Leads.

Communicate and coordinate regularly with other Business Leaders and support the development of conveyance programs based on thought leadership and innovation that address project and program drivers and anticipated client needs.

Build strong client relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Lead or support conveyance program opportunity identification, development of pursuit and capture plans, strategy development, and pre‑positioning.

Identify and develop resources that support the execution of conveyance projects. Target hires into the business who can be mentored and developed into the next generation of linear infrastructure leaders.

Be available as a technical reviewer or key QA/QC resource to support execution of active conveyance work.

Increase B&V marketplace visibility by leading and assisting Client Directors with participation in national and regional conferences and committees, community and civic associations, and other strategic activities.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Business.

Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.

Must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).

Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support Engineer‑of‑Record requirements for BV projects.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.

May be exposed to extreme temperatures (below 30°F or above 90°F) and other site hazards such as electrical currents or scaffold work.
