Swan Hellenic is currently hiring salespeople to help our past guests and prospects select the expedition experience that is perfect for them. This full-time position is perfect for individuals who love travel, enjoy helping guests and prospects while providing world class customer service. Personal Expedition Consultant Dedicated Salesperson committed to providing exemplary sales and service to past guests and prospects. This position offers a competitive base and a lucrative commission program, plus full benefits and a 401k program.
Duties
Promote, sell and service Swan Hellenic expedition experience by initiating outbound phone calls to past guests and new prospects. Fully qualify each guest to assist them in choosing the best vacation for them.
Receive inbound phone calls and e-mails from your client list. Handle accordingly.
Achieve pre-determined service standards. Build relationships that last a lifetime with all guests and prospects by providing 5 star plus service throughout the entire sales and service process.
Provide exemplary pre and post booking service to all guests and prospects.
Learn Swan Hellenics award winning fleet, the onboard lifestyle and expedition experience. Familiarize yourself with all applicable itineraries that Swan Hellenic offers and know what the top attractions are at each port of call. Learn the intricacies of what makes Swan Hellenic Unique.
Learn and master the sales process in training. Be open to additional training, new product offerings and new ports of call.
Familiarize yourself with all applicable promotions, marketing campaigns and exclusive voyages.
Perform other job-related activities as needed.
Requirements
Must be able to work in the United States and without sponsorship.
Must be local to the Aventura Florida Area
Must speak, read and write English fluently – native level fluency.
Bi-Multilingual is a plus
Must be experienced with MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook (e‑mail)
Education: High school Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years sales experience preferred. Travel Industry sales a plus but not required. User knowledge of CRM systems a plus.
Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills is a must. Must be able to multitask as team members verbally communicate and listen while using 3 systems concurrently. Must be able to maintain high energy for long periods of time during sales and busy season. Must be goal driven. Positive attitude required. Attention to detail required.
