Overview The Fixed Income Index Calculation and Distribution Team (FI ICAD) within the Global Index Management & Production Group (IMPG) is responsible for the production and management of a wide range of indices across equities, fixed income, options, futures, commodity, digital assets and economic indices. This role is an Associate Director position that leads a team of analysts in the daily calculation, validation and dissemination of fixed‑income indices and associated data.

Responsibilities and Impact

Lead a team of analysts responsible for validating the inputs used for index calculation, ensuring data integrity through corporate action analysis, price validation and market data assessment.

Perform quality assurance validations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the index values distributed to clients.

Oversee and optimize daily operating processes for global indices, proactively investigating system alerts and coordinating with the technology team to resolve issues efficiently.

Manage product delivery to ensure timely dissemination of intraday and end‑of‑day index data to clients and end users.

Collaborate with the technology development team to drive automation and enhance system capabilities.

Cultivate and maintain key relationships with other groups within the department and across other departments, particularly Product Management, Client Coverage, Index Services and Technology Teams.

Lead the integration of new products into the daily operations cycle.

Lead and mentor a diverse team of analysts located across different geographical regions in the Americas, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work environment.

Compensation and Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to U.S. candidates.)

S&P Global estimates the base salary range for this position in the U.S. at $93,144 to $133,455, adjusted for geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. Qualifications Basic Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Mathematics, Economics, IT, Finance or related disciplines.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a financial services or analytics role, preferably within the fixed‑income domain.

In‑depth understanding of financial markets, asset classes and company fundamentals.

Demonstrated experience managing a team of analysts and motivating and developing team members effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft products, especially Excel, with advanced analytical capabilities.

Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to address complex, non‑routine problems in a timely and insightful manner.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience with databases (SQL) and programming languages such as Python and VBA would be beneficial.
